Pure

Pure became the University’s research repository on the 1 December 2017 and it is the responsibility of academics to ensure that they deposit their research outputs within Pure and also ensure they comply with the Open Access requirements of the next Research Excellence Framework (REF).

There is no set limit to how far back researchers need to go in terms of adding content although the University is mandating that all activity since 01.01.2014 should be recorded within the system.

Pure [intranet page] facilitates an evidence-based approach to our institution's research and collaboration activities, assists in the submissions to the REF assessment exercise, and supports day-to-day business decisions.

The University Research Portal is publicly accessible and can be searched by the general public.

Academics and those with a research profile can login and edit their details via the Pure admin link.
