Why use LibKey Nomad?

Libkey Nomad works across hundreds of websites and thousands of publisher platforms, eliminating frustrating authentication processes and the need to re-run searches through the library to access the content you need.

Once Libkey Nomad is installed, if you land on an article page at a publisher website, or even a book on Amazon, LibKey will quickly check if the article or eBook, is available via the library and provide a link to the content at the bottom of your screen.

When the library doesn't have immediate access, Libkey Nomad will provide a link back to the Library Search, allowing you to quickly and easily place a request for any content you wish to access. This means that Libkey Nomad will either give you instant access to content or provide you with the means to request it, wherever you're conducting your research.

Libkey Nomad works with the following sites to re-write the content of the page and insert context-aware links and cover images:

  • PubMed - Article Linking, BrowZine View Complete Issue, Cover Images both in the search results and individual records view
  • Wikipedia - Article Linking within References
  • SciFinder-N - Article Linking, BrowZine View Complete Issue, Cover Images both in the search results and individual records view
