Adding journal articles to your reading list can be a good way to introduce some diversity if there are not many suitable books available. All these journal resources are available in full text to University of Huddersfield staff and students. For some titles, full text access may be limited to certain years.
The African Journals Initiative (AJI) aims to enhance the profile and discoverability of African social science and humanities journals, to Increase journal usage and submissions and to mobilise financial support from academic libraries and consortia.
The initiative will work with six established African social science and humanities journals annually. In the first year, confirmed journals include:
Dhaxalreeb, Somaliland
The Ethiopian Journal of Education, Ethiopia
Ibadan Sociology Journal, Nigeria
Journal of Humanities, Malawi
